Getting there

I finally got to sneak in yesterday as the SS allowed permission to walk in for Blinds and awnings measurements. So here are updates as you would see in the photos

- Cornices done

- New front door in

- Water proofing done in wet areas

- Kitchen in

- En suite and main Bathrooms are almost there

- plastering done

- carpenter work almost done, you can see him working in one of the photos

had a terrible issues with blinds delivery with Accent Blinds. finally got complete blinds to help here. they have commit ed the delivery in time. prices are a little bit higher but i think i negotiated the most of it....

I think its taking a good shape. please please do not extend any more timeline....

going to go and buy some curtains, cushions and some more linen today. I see a few discounts around.. aha i hope i don't become a shopaholic .. i have been shopping since past 6-8 months. now i feel weird if i am not shopping on a weekend. but it has started showing on my bank balance.. but cant control the excitement.

ohh ... have been locked out now

it was a pleasant surprise to see that i have been locked out... hopefully will be able to walk in soon.

by the way it was dissapointing to find out that Denise was not with Wisdom homes anymore.They probably lost one of their best employees.

Gyprock is in

Just went and had a look and found out that the gyp rock is in. I can now see the sizes of all the rooms. well they certainly look bigger then what they looked in the frame stage. but wish they were still bigger .... i think i am getting greedy... anyways enjoy the photos

some updates

Just had a quick visit in the night after a stressful and an annoying day @ work . Though it was pretty dark, but I was still able to sneak in for few snaps. Updates:

Insulation done

Airconditioning unit installed

Gyprock and cornices ready for installation.

I see lots of anaconda's running in the ceiling of the house...Airconditioning ducts..

Electrical layout finally seems correct

After a log struggle the electrical layout finally seems to be almost correct. I still dont see a junction box on the right hand side of the house.. but god.. its a nightmare to explain the headoffice a simple electrical layout, My advise to all the people building home.. lease keep a track of how its going otherwise you will see them making mistakes, and the response will be " we have a lot of work on our plates" .... is that my problem??????

Solar pannel will hopefully save some bucks...

They have put a solar pannel on the roof. Solar hot water system will hopefully save some money.

I am liking the external facade cladding

It makes the house look more like little temple Gopurams. Check them out....

After a long time

My Apologies for not having uploaded any photographs since last couple of weeks. Just got too tied up with work and also some electrical layout issues had to be resolved. There has been too many mistakes on this simple electrical plan but I guess this is how things would be and I will need to check on the progress all the time.

Also had to resolve issues with the bank.For some reason their calculations were not so accurate which meant a loss of 5000$ to me. But luckily I maintained all the calculations and saved from that loss....it has been a stressful time but hopefully things will be more smoother in future.

And now few updates. ...

Roof work done

Electrical wiring done(although with errrors which soon to be rectified).

Contractor called me and informed me that the house should be ready in next 6-7 weeks... I am so excited..
