living there

I have been living there since past 3 days now. its great... only few fixes left which I thin Wisdom homes will sort it out soon. will keep you posted.

Today is the day

i cant believe its happening. i am going to get keys today.. truck will load at 10.00 am..

Got the cheque!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have teh cheque in my hand.. oh my god.. feel so full of anxiety. its all coming together.. hopefully handover happens day after tomorrow. then everything will be fine i guess.

few issues that Howard noticed in his inspection . passed it on to John and hopefully they will be resolved.

its happening so quickly. i wanted thsi to be grand but cant do it as the hand oever and rituals happen on the same day( thursday) so does the removals come on thursday..

anyways hope everything goes smooth.

thanks to everyone for getting me throug this so far. will update photos after hand over and then final photos after the house has been sorted out.

Almost there

I have already started feeling a bit restless as the date is coming closer. we are almost there. hopefully the bank does it job in time so that john and let the settlement happen in time.... fingers crossed.

went and had a look there are more updates from the walk through photos but it was too dark to take snaps. i am really liking the house. i think they have done a good job.

WALK THROUGH TODAY!!!!!!!

Had the walk through today... wow it was so exciting. Met John the site supervisor for the first time. I think the house looks beautiful. They have done a good job. People were working on landscaping, concrete was to go in today and the other landscaping guys were working simultaneously. Looks like quiet a lot in action. Howard booked in for an inspection on Monday morning 8.30 am . I think money very well spent there. I have no idea of building construction, so its good to have someone who understands this involved.

I have already booked the removalists for 1st April, Blinds go in on 31st. and spoke to Bank to push payments.

I really hope everything goes on smooth and in the time frame... fingers crossed, toes crossed...

will update the photos of walk through by tomorrow. a little bit tired today.

Getting there

Site Supervisor really working hard on the house now. He has confirmed our walk through next Wednesday morning. he says 31st march could be the day... My heart is running at a faster speed. on one side I feel bad for having been so harsh on the SS but on the other hand I feel if I had not really pushed him hard that day nothing full have progressed that day.... today the furniture come in. its going to be hard to put them in this unit but i guess will have to manage something. but hopefully the stress would not be that much.

As per SS the landscape guys begin excavating on Monday.. drive way and concrete will go on. and the carpet goes in on Thursday.

I have booked Howard for inspection . I think it is important to spend that money because we have absolutely no idea of what a house building is suppose to be...

Now the updates that i saw on Thursday.

-Porch tiling done- looks good

-Full main area tiling done- looks good

-Telstra box is in(wowwwwwww. i can start checking with telstra and my ISP provider for Internet)

-Garage motor is in

-Bathroom mosaic done and looks good

-Airconditioning unit power spot installed

-Electrical layout work initiated

-Junction box in

Ohh this street gets busy in the day time

when ever i went to this place in the late afternoons this street looked so quiet and calm. never ever could i imagine it to be so busy in the mornings... look at the number of cars and people on this otherwise quiet street..
